Cholla Lake

The lake sits just 2.8 miles from Joseph City, making it a quick 5-10 minute drive from town services. There's a basic day-use area with parking, picnic tables, and vault toilets, though amenities are minimal compared to larger reservoirs. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and a hat regardless of season. Gas and supplies are available in Joseph City, but it's worth bringing everything you need before heading out.
